I would rather do all the tiny carpentry again than mix concrete, even with a borrowed mixing machine. I tried using a paddle and a drill and almost burned out the motor. If and when I have the wherewithal to install a pad for the house, I would rather flip burgers and job it out.
This pile of concrete, plus an additional three bags (not pictured) will make an 8’×10′ base for a 6’×8′ shed to house laundry machines and to cover the sunken fridge (see yesterday’s funerary scene below). The scrapped fridge will be the cider cellar and whatever else will fit in there. The shed roof will be a scrapped truck cap, which is ideal for its size and windows on all four sides.
